薩爾瓦多法定比特幣事件的金融占星解析

This law was voted in by the Salvadoran Congress on June 9th–just hours before the recent solar eclipse (June 10th). This is big news, as it is the first time Bitcoin has been recognized as legal tender (though Japan came close to this in 2017 when Bitcoin was given asset class status). El Salvador is a small country of around 6.4 million people where over 20% of the populace live in poverty and only 30% have bank accounts. A recent commentary stated that “round 16% of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of El Salvador’s economy consists of remittances coming from abroad, primarily from the United States.” It is a dollarized economy where legal tender is the US dollar: not their own currency. The implementation of this proposal is a major development for cryptos generally. Not only is there now high probability of some cryptos choosing to relocate to El Salvador (and so boosting its economy), but the precedent makes clear that we are now witnessing the potential of awe-inspiring financial currents headed our way this decade. Their waves will threaten many people, whilst lifting others to great wealth. Although there is a seeded thought that Bitcoin and other cryptos are used for money-laundering, this is actually on a much, much smaller scale than occurs through more traditional banking routes. Bitcoin is not necessarily a “baddie,” though as Pluto moves toward its progressed Sun, it could be painted that way. Unsurprisingly, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has declared that this “raises a number of macroeconomic, financial and legal issues.” Astro-economists recognize that when the slower moving planets make ingress, this often coincides with major–and global–financial development (think back to Pluto’s Capricorn ingress and the threatened global financial collapse). We are in the closing stages of this transit and are being given clues as to what Pluto’s Aquarius ingress will bring. That this coincides–within the space of just two years–with Sedna and Uranus each making an Air sign ingress, suggests that financial currents will be crazily turbulent. Birth or inception data for El Salvador is scarce, but a useful chart is that of its declaration of independence on 21st September 1821: significantly close to both a Uranus-Neptune conjunction within orb of the World Axis at 0 Capricorn, and a Jupiter-Saturn conjunction in late degrees of Aries (which is presently squared by Pluto). Transiting Pluto also opposes Mars in Cancer. So perhaps we should not be surprised that El Salvador is moving to center global stage and that it is experiencing financial upheaval and transformation. The El Salvador President would have been planning this move for some time–perhaps since the June 2020 solar eclipse on the World Axis that opposed the Independence chart Pluto. The IMF was formed on December 27, 1945 and has a retrograde Pluto at 11 Leo: a degree affected by the 2021 square between Saturn and Uranus. Its Progressed Sun is at 21 Pisces (Neptune transits this degree in 2021) whilst its Progressed Moon is at 19 Cancer: a degree often in play at times of financial drama. Eyes will now turn to the IMF and how it chooses to deal with this development. Neptune is not a “bad” planet, but its transit over a solar position often coincides with confusion, lack of “reality awareness” and a temptation to gloss or be seduced by possibilities that often leads to difficulties: lack of leadership being the most obvious. Just as “El Salvador’s milestone law will remain immortalized on the blockchain forever, placing the country’s forward-thinking approach to the future of money on the digital ledger for generations to come,” so also will the reaction of the IMF to this major development be scrutinized and debated. To astrologers, the timing of any event is examined closely. A ledger entry was made at 07.07 (time zone not confirmed and assumed place San Salvador, the capital) on June 9, 2021 and is the critical moment. We assume universal time, but until accurate data is confirmed, we have only a skeleton framework with which to work (i.e. we do not know the angles or exact Moon placement). What we know is that this development took place with Uranus septile Neptune. True, this aspect is at work on many different levels: from arts through sports and sciences and in medical breakthroughs and should not be surprised by this curious (Uranus) and long-term (Neptune) development in the financial arena. From this chart we also note that the Sun will progress to natal retrograde Mercury in roughly three years, whilst Progressed Mercury will conjoin the Progressed Sun within that same time frame. As a prelude to the various ingresses of 2024-2026, could anything be more fitting? With rascal Mercury retrograde as the IMF pondered its next move, the stage is set for “plays within plays” offering those of us interested in Astro-finance a masterclass in twists and turns. Meanwhile, across the world in China, the government closed down various Bitcoin mining facilities overnight–perhaps not the wisest move as many of these operations will make their way to the USA (Texas especially), bringing jobs with them.
