OUTER PLANET CONJUNCTIONS AND THE 1500 YEAR CLIMATE CYCLE

Climate changes drive historical events. Drought, floods, sustained cold and other climatological events force humans into survival crises that in turn lead to migration, conflict, the rise of dominant individuals, government control over the population and other undesirable effects. An example is the Little Ice Age which affected much of the world from about 1300-1850. A 1500 year periodicity has been reported in paleoclimate data and claims have been made that this rhythm relates to the Little Ice Age. My investigation of this periodicity draws attention to a 1542-year recurring series of conjunctions of Saturn, Uranus and Neptune, that show correlations with solar irradiance, galactic cosmic ray flux, and global climate changes.

BRUCE SCOFIELD, Ph.D., has been a general practitioner of astrology for 45 years, is an author of books and articles, and has been a strong advocate for educational standards for astrology. He has taught evolution at the University of Massachusetts and astrology for Kepler College. His interest in Mesoamerican astrology has a web presence at www.onereed.com.

A presentation using the natal and relocated solar returns (SR) and lunar (LR) originating from the horoscope of the Announcement of ISIS. We’ll explore and illustrate the pinpoint tracking power of my version of SR and LR solar arcs (SA) as well as a rarely-used type of SR secondary progression as forecasting and rectification tools in the theater of mundane astrology.Using the natal and the relocated charts if ISIS, results of the above techniques will be demonstrated along with standard secondary progressions, SA directions, transits, and tertiary progressions in the 2015 Paris attacks, both on Charlie Hebdo on

January 7th, the world-numbing catastrophic events of November 13th, and the “lone wolf” husband and wife attack of December 2nd in San Bernadino, CA. Occurring only 6 days after the formal announcement of of the founding of ISIS, another famous radical Islamic attack, the Boston Marathon bombing of April 15, 2013, will be addressed. “Officially” thought to be an “unaffiliated” attack, my own findings, both astrological and from other research, seem to indicate otherwise. You, the viewers, can be the judges.

JEFF GEIST, B.A. in Psychology from NYU, has been a general practitioner of astrology for over 35 years, most well known for his work with solar return (SR) journeying (SRJ), having taken well over 30 of these himself and sent his clients on hundreds more, many of which have been meticulously documented. He has written a book,  lectured, written articles, and has been a member of NCGR since the late 1970s. Prior to and into the early years of his astrology career he was a musician, singer, and songwriter, with a few of his songs covered, published, and played nationally and internationally. He is dedicated to preservation of still-remaining wilderness areas on earth and wildlife in general (especially predators). Toward that end, he is strongly committed to the importance of human population control, not just for the sake of the natural world, its denizens and their right to exist alongside us, but for the well-being of humanity itself.

I’ll review the major revelations that the Uranus-Pluto square (not over by a long shot) has triggered in the USA, as well as some of that transit’s global themes; e.g. mass migration, stateless warfare, and income disparity. Then I’ll look at the Saturn-Neptune square (2015-2017), now giving us a chance to learn from our mistakes of the past several decades, before the momentous conjunctions of 2020.  On the personal level, we are being challenged to consider the Saturn (responsibility)/Neptune (illusion) paradox: that we must play the game of life for real, knowing all the while that it’s just a game.

JESSICA MURRAY has been practicing astrology in San Francisco for 40 years. After graduating Brown University in psychology, fine arts and linguistics, Jessica toured with a women’s theatre before moving west in 1975, where a study of Carl Jung led her to astrology. Her website, MotherSky.com offers topical blogs, a  monthly Skywatch, lectures, and webinars. She is the author of Soul-Sick Nation and At the Crossroads, and a contributor to the anthology Transpersonal Astrology. Her articles appear in the online magazine Reality Sandwich and DaykeeperJournal.com and are frequently featured in The Mountain Astrologer.
